Back in Summer 2007, we were asked to prepare a Powerpoint presentation for Virgin Megastores (now Zavvi) to be shown at a managers’ purchasing meeting the following day. Rather than the usual ‘sales trend’ and ‘market segmentation’ graphs and pie charts, we cobbled this together. Slapped Country Joe & The Fish’s classic (albeit slightly edited to make it more relevant today) anti-war song, ‘Fixin’ to Die’, over the top and … much to our amazement, they ordered 5000 on the spot. (Bear in mind this is from a POWERPOINT presentation, so it’s a bit slow-moving for a youtube clip)
